Meliorism 2 – Missionaries of Charity

My second outreach was last March 24, 2013 at Missionaries of Charity located at Antipolo Rizal.   A home for the sick, malnourished and abandoned children.

Pictures were not allowed inside so i have a very few to show. But i stole some in papparazzi style.

For kids safety, i have inverted the colors of the pictures.

Normally, part of the program is to feed the children, entertain them, play and bond with them.

The volunteers also prepared a dance number for the kids with the song Every move I make.

The kids are all game with it. Following the dance steps and giving their best dance moves.

I’ve notice, some of the children cry easily. Yung iba naman gusto kinakarga. I can feel the emptiness of their love tank. These adorable kids badly need our love.

This charity is run by nuns. You can really see that they are being trained. They say their graces before and after meal. You can see them eat practicing a table manners.

After playing with them at the play pen, assisting them in the slides and monkey bar and pushing the swing for them, they need to be inside their quarters for siesta. And its our time to say goodbye too.

After a not so tiring and fulfilling Sunday, we are offered a free lunch by one of the traders client near the location. Ika nga nila, when you do bad, ang bilis ng karma. Let me rephrase it, when you do good, ang bilis ng blessing.

We are indeed so blessed that day!

Bygones.
